"AND" will multiply the connections (1=active 0=not active 1*1=1 1*0=0) meaning it will activate (light green) only if all the things connected to it will be active (camera, pressure pab or camera).
"OR" add the connections 1+0=1 0+0=0 1+1=1 (1=active 0=not active) so if anything connected to it will be active it will activate whatever is connected to it. Example: if "OR" is connected to a door switch and to "OR" connected a Pressure pap and a camera if one will be active the door will open, if both will be active the door will be active and if both are in active (no one is standing om the pad and no one is monitoring via the camera) the door will close. (1=active 0=inactive 1+0=1 0+0=0 1+1=1)
"NOT" will switch between active signal and in active signal, meaning it will send an active signal if whatever connected to it will be inactive. Example: if a Pressure pad is connected to "NOT" that connect to a door gate the signal will change meaning the door will open when no one is standing on the pad but will close if the pad is active.(1=active 0=inactive 1 -> 0 0 -> 0)
"NAND" is a combination of "NOT" and "AND". "NAND" will swich the signals (like "NOT" would do) and it will change "AND" to "OR" meaning it will add the values of the connected devices. Example: if a pressure pad and a camera will be connected to it and both are on (both sending an active signal), then it would switch it to an inactive signal (the devices will active still) and then add the values (1=active signal 0=inactive signal) so 1 and 1 (1*1) through "NAND" will change by the next order 1*1 -> 0*0 -> 0+0 =0 in active so if all is active it will send an in active signal (1=active 0=inactive 1*1 -> 0*0 -> 0+0=0=in active 1*0 -> 0*1 -> 0+1=1=active 0*0 -> 1*1 -> 1+1=1=active)
"NOR" is a combination of "NOT" and "OR". "NOR" will swich the signals (like "NOT" would do) and it will change "OR" to "AND" meaning it will multiply the changed values (1=active 0=inactive 1+1 -> 0+0 -> 0*0=0=in active 1+0 -> 0+1 -> 0*1=0=inactive 0+0 -> 1+1 -> 1*1=1=active)
"XOR" is will be active only if one! of the devices connected to it is active
